Read Sue's Christmas letter for 2009>

This web site is dedicated
to the memory of

Adam Kavelman

In addition to commemorating his life, Adam's friends and family wanted to reach out and provide a resource for others who may be suffering from undiagnosed depression, the main cause of teen suicide.

If you're contemplating suicide, which has been called a "permanent solution to a temporary problem", please read this first. You are also invited to read an open letter from Sue (Adam's Mother) to friends, family, and potential victims of this tragic condition. Bob (Adam's Dad) offers his perspective here.

We are really pleased with the latest updates in technology that have been made to our website and invite all visitors to leave their comments in the Guest Book which is now designated as "General Discussion" and where your anonymity and privacy are still fully protected. You may sign in with a Username like "guest" or "friend" if you prefer not to use your name. Alternatively you could use your first name only or the computer tag you would like to be referred to as.

The Discussion Forum's new designation is "Remember When" where all previous postings to both these areas of our website are archived and easily accessible.

For our regular visitors, be they family or friends, we invite you to register and become a member of the website. This will allow you to share a personal profile or even create your own "blog" which will facilitate interaction with other members. We also want to assure everyone who chooses to become a "member" of this website that your personal information will not be given out or shared with any other service providers or advertisers of any description.

Please check out the "photo" album page for pictures of Adam's life and a sampling of Adam's art work.

We have discovered "Kid's Help Phone", a fabulous resource out there for kids in trouble. They also have a web site with a wealth of information. We have decided to officially support Kid's Help Phone by donating proceeds from our Annual "Adam Kavelman Memorial Golf Tournament" held near Windsor, Ontario, Canada every summer.

The 6th Annual Golf Tournament was held last year on Saturday June 18th, 2005.  It was another successful and wonderful event.

You can view the pictures in the photo album page.

Unfortunately we have been unable to hold our tournament since 2005 but who knows what the future will hold now that we are finally all together here in British Columbia.
